About

Developing Nature Gallery

I was born and raised in New Hampshire. The early years of my adulthood whisked me away to many places. And now nearly half way through life, we are home again. My interest in art started at a young age, and has since grown as I became older. Having been very interested in photography, I enrolled in the photography class offered at my high school as another art credit. Years later, as an adult, I enrolled in the New York Institute of Photography program in 2004. And thus begins my online art journey. I have enrolled in various print-on-demand programs and created several websites and galleries to show my art. I first started out using a Nikon N65 film camera. Then I moved on to Pentax K10D and never became concerned about finding a place to develop film again. I am now going to be using the Pentax Mark ii for a while. I do have other cameras but the Pentax DSLR is my go to camera. My digital art is created by using my photographs and software programs like DAZ 3D, Painter. Sometimes I will paint or draw something by hand and either scan it in or photograph it, to then edit it in a program.

I enjoy being in the outdoors. I find it is very peaceful and exciting. I also share this passion for preserving the wilderness with my children. I hope the beauty that is shown through my images will inspire people to help protect and preserve the wildlife today for a tomorrow.
