The Bird That Woke The Whales 4
A moment later, a larger whale was seen breaching. A spectacular display of strength from mother Humpback. The weather was cloud cover. The line of sight, not that great. But at least it did not rain. We were very lucky to see such a display. And to find a mother and child together. Later, on the ride back to the dock, the weather started to clear up. We spent a couple of hours walking the beach, looking back out to sea.
