Madame Sherri's Staircase

Madame Sherri was a woman ahead of her time, living her life for herself. She was seen as scandalous and eccentric. She had a wonderfully crafted and decorated home in southern New Hampshire, which she threw grande parties at. She would wait for her guests to arrive at the roof top deck and descend on this stone staircase to welcome them inside her home. The house was burnt down by vandals in 1962. The staircase was made to fall in 2021. The forest is reclaiming what remains of the foundation and stone walls and stairs.
