The Barred and The Squirrel
There was a Barred Owl seen sleeping in a tree. Then a silly Gray Squirrel ran up the tree. The squirrel began grooming and making some noise, waking up the owl. The owl looked down at the squirrel. I thought she may try to snatch the squirrel up and bring the rodent to her nesting young. But that did not happen. Maybe the owl was still half asleep or did not hear the calls of her children nestled into another tree, and the squirrel ran away soon after. Texture was added to these two pictures.
